The reason for the 4 stars is that it was difficult to disassemble and put the batteries in. I am almost there and sending it back. The two places where you have to squeeze to open it were impossible. I tried again and again for hours. Finally, I asked someone else. They struggled twice but eventually got it open.

11/7/2024 9:06 AM bought this for travel. I have an Oral B rechargeable electric toothbrush with a timer feature that goes off every 30 seconds with a longer pause of 2 minutes. You can stop and restart brushing, and the timer keeps track of your brushing time. This batterypowered model has a twominute timer that goes off for 2 minutes, but if you stop brushing, turn the brush off, and then start it again, the timer resets for another 2 minutes. The brushing is almost as good as my plugin toothbrush, but not as powerful. Overall, Im happy with it for travel, but I wish the timer worked as well as my plugin toothbrush.

11/7/2024 1:31 AM bought this inexpensive toothbrush 8 years ago and have loved it ever since. It takes 2 AA batteries which was a downside for me as I dont want to have to buy new AA batteries every 6 or 8 weeks. So I bought 4 Panasonic rechargeable AA batteries with a charger at the same time so I never have to buy AA batteries for this toothbrush again. I just put 2 fully charged batteries in when they get slow and put the dead batteries in the charger overnight and then in the drawer until the next time I need them. The batteries were an extra purchase but they have paid for themselves several times over. Yes, I could have bought a rechargeable toothbrush instead but if the internal nonreplaceable battery dies your toothbrush will definitely die. Its time to buy a new one. So I give this product 5 stars for everything except battery life, and I solved that problem by using my own rechargeable batteries.

It has a lot of power and lasts a long time. I like that it pulses every minute so you know how long youve been brushing. I would definitely order these again.

Remember, when you put the cap back on that holds the batteries, make sure its oriented correctly. If you put the cap back on and the brush doesnt turn on, simply remove the cap and turn it 180 degrees in the opposite direction to flip the cap over. EZPZ.

10/20/2024 5:42 AM Given the price I half expected poor quality but I have to say I was wrong. The first thing I noticed when I first used it was how strong it was. The vibration can be harsh but there is a perfect soft setting. I LOVE the timer and intervals. I am probably the only person who cares about brushing my teeth but for me it was just perfect. It arrived charged and the battery life is good and I have not had to charge it yet. There was a piece to prevent it from rolling and a case for the brush. It is slim and doesnt take up all the space on the shelf when changing clothes. Really great quality and very cute. I have the pink one.

10/18/2024 6:19 PM My dentist recommended the OralB rechargeable electric toothbrush to me and after reading the reviews I chose this Pro 1000 rechargeable toothbrush. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The indicator lights that tell you when it needs to be charged and when it is fully charged are very helpful and I think help the battery last longer. My husband has the 500 and he always leaves his on the charger because he never knows when it will run out. The threestage cleaning power is good and the features work as promised, stopping the brush if you brush too hard. Some reviews I read expressed concern about the slippery handle. I find that with the Pro 1000 my handle can be a little slippery. The 500 has a little rubbery handle but the 1000 has a smooth, thin handle. Im sure this wouldnt be such a big deal if you kept your mouth closed the whole time while brushing your teeth unfortunately, you dont. Even if your teeth are slippery, its not insurmountable. I always dry my toothbrush thoroughly, including the filling port at the bottom, as Ive found that sometimes liquid can get in there, and sometimes water leaks out of the port where the brush head is attached. In both cases, youll end up with watery circles on your toothpaste wherever you store it if you dont dry it properly. Im happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

It doesnt turn off at the end of the cycle like my batterypowered model, and it needs to be charged about every 10 days, but those are minor inconveniences compared to how clean my teeth feel. I bought this model based on the 2024 NYT review and testing of various electric toothbrushes.

10/7/2024 8:07 PM Updated Rating In my original review I gave this a 1 star and mentioned that it inexplicably started working after only a month of use. After further diagnostics it turns out it was the battery. I had new Duracell batteries installed when I received it, but they draw more power than other models I have used before. So they will need to be replaced more often. I would say the Duracell batteries in this unit will run out after a month of use, twice a day. It may be even shorter with cheaper branded batteries. If the battery is low it will turn on and off while brushing. It also randomly does a twitching noise that should only happen when the 2 minute timer runs out. This only happens when the battery is low. I have tested it a few times and once I put in a new battery it works fine again. So it is not a fault as I first thought, but I would never have known unless I had troubleshooted the fault. I am changing the rating to 5 stars because it works and it is easier to tell if I am brushing for the 2 minutes recommended by the dentist. Original review After a month the toothbrush stopped working. I have noticed several times that after activating the timer where it vibrates for a few seconds, it stops working and stops spinning for a few seconds. But now, even after replacing the brush heads and troubleshooting, it continues to stop working.

I used the rechargeable batteries and it seems like forever and Im still on my first charge. I can easily recharge the battery for free and I wont have to buy a new toothbrush when the battery eventually dies. The motor is strong. The downside is that there is no way to change the speed. If you have sensitive gums, this may be too much. However, it works for me.

My only complaint is that after brushing your teeth it is hard to find the onoff switch. Normally this is not a problem, but if you have to take the brush out of your mouth to find it because it is not turned on and not up, it sprays everywhere. Perfect for travel

After a full charge, which now takes over 24 hours, it will last about 34 days before it needs to be charged again. If it slows down now, it will also drain faster. I estimate that this will happen within 35 years of replacement.

Maybe its just me, but I couldnt figure out how to open the bottom of the toothbrush to insert the batteries, and I had to look it up. You have to press the buttons on the bottom and then open it. It also takes a little force to close it. I think this aspect of the design could be improved.

The differences I noticed are that this one doesnt have a handle, its just smooth, and this one has a button that you press three times to turn off. It does something on high, medium, and off before it turns off. If I knew that, I would try to find the exact model I had before.

The vibration is intense, and the four modes give you the cleaning you need. I havent been using it for long, less than a month, but I can see the benefits.

8/31/2024 2:03 AM This toothbrush is fantastic. It has 4 modes, each with very different types of pulses. I use the clean mode first, then the whitening mode, then the gum and tongue massage mode. The gentle mode is a bit useless, but definitely useful if you suffer from sensitivity. I would consider this a better buy than even the best Sonicare toothbrushes I have used in the past. Good battery life and a great indicator light to let you know when it is time to charge. It comes with a case, 3 extra heads, etc. Mine even arrived fully charged, 100, would recommend.

Its a good product for the price. Its loud and the sound is choppy on each setting but I dont think it is. One of the options sounds like a police siren lol. But the charge lasts a long time and its easy to assemble. I gave it a 4 because I dont like it. noise.

8/27/2024 11:22 AM Please note that this part is for an OralB ProHealth Clinical Power Toothbrush. It was purchased a while ago to replace an older model that I bought locally many, many years ago. I did not order this model, but that is not really an issue as almost all models use the same accessories, so you can use the accessory you want with any model. The model I replaced was actually a Barney colored kids model. It was all that was on the shelf at the store and also required regular brush heads. The brush head that came with this model was smaller in size, but it was still a standard brush head and would fit this model, so even on a kids model it will likely work with the adult accessories and vice versa. I use mine with rechargeable batteries and after a year or two I had to tape the bottom down because it would not stay in place with freshly charged batteries. Duct tape works best for this. After a few days, or in some cases, when I let the freshly charged batteries cool for a few hours, the bottom part snaps into place properly and the tape can be removed. I mention this to emphasize a floor that doesnt snap into place doesnt mean it needs to be replaced. Of course, any mechanical thing will wear out over time, but it should last a very long time. Added later At some point, the floor cracked. I used tape to keep water out, and that worked for about two years. The bottom contacts then marked one of the batteries, and the charger refused to charge them. The regular batteries died on the second use, and had the same marking. I concluded that the device was draining the batteries, and indeed, the area at the bottom with the contacts seemed a little... damp. So I bought a new one. Note that this part is for an OralB Charcoal Clinical Power toothbrush. And indeed, the case mentioned above lasted almost six years. I bought this product as a replacement because I really liked the look of it. It actually takes the standard heads. Of course, since they are white plastic, they dont quite match the black plastic body of the unit. But they definitely work. At this point, Im not sure if any of the above band solutions will be needed. I assume they will be. Ill be happy if this lasts another six years or more. Added 102221, took off two stars because of the timer. Without the timer, I can tell when to replace or charge the battery because the brush stops spinning when it comes into contact with the tooth. But with the timer, this doesnt happen, and the timer turns on early and stays on. After a while, you can continue brushing. This is not good. However, I will live with it for now, when it is time to replace this unit, the replacement unit will not have a timer.

The build quality is good, and it comes with extra attachments. It has a few different modes, and it has a USBC charger for convenience. Ive been using it for a few months now and really have no complaints. And Im pretty hard on toothbrushes. Im happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, affordable electric toothbrush.

This one was clearly legible in white letters on a black background. The buttons were easy to use as I had trouble turning them on and off on other models. 8/7/2024 9:07 PM If you are tired of buying rechargeable toothbrushes with internal batteries that quickly lose their charge capacity and cannot be replaced, then this toothbrush is for you. These toothbrushes also feature an electronic system that maintains a constant motor voltage, thereby maintaining optimal orbital cleaning speed even as the battery voltage decreases as it discharges. This means that the motor performance remains constant until the very end, when the batteries are almost completely discharged and the motor finally just stops. This ensures optimal performance until the battery is completely discharged. This feature also means that despite the lower voltage, you get the same cleaning speed and performance using 2 x 1.2V NiMH batteries as you would using 2 x 1.5V alkaline batteries. They are cheaper in the long run and you dont have to throw away tons of used alkaline batteries that would otherwise end up in a landfill. The build quality of the units is excellent, as you would expect from a Braun unit, even for a less expensive unit. The battery compartment is well sealed, but this could be improved by applying a thin layer of Vaseline or other lubricant around the Oring on the removable bottom. This ensures that no water vapour gets into the battery compartment, which can cause corrosion of the batteries over time with prolonged use. Overall, this is a great brush, especially for the price. The fact that the old batteries can be replaced when their capacity runs out means you can expect to get years of use out of one of these brushes, whereas more expensive units with internal batteries become useless once they lose most of their capacity. I switched from the Spinbrush Pro Clean to the Braun and the improvement is huge. The Spinbrush was too slow on the lowvoltage batteries, the battery compartment leaked, the button corroded and became unreliable, and the batteries corroded quickly due to the leaky compartment. All of these problems are solved by this Braun model.

I was heartbroken when I tried to charge it and it didnt work. I think it might be water damage but I still cant use it now. Although it did work, it gave a nice deep clean and made brushing my teeth easier, especially in the evenings when Ive been drinking or something and dont feel like brushing my teeth. Knowing that it would be easier with the electric feature always made it easier. Id like to update my review with a replacement

The battery life seems to last a long time and I like that it comes with a travel case and several replacement brush heads. The main thing I was looking for was a smaller brush head because I have a small mouth and brushing my back teeth is always a challenge. With this product I am able to clean my back teeth thoroughly. The bristles are soft which is great for sensitive teeth and do a great job of removing food particles and debris from my teeth.

7/29/2024 11:39 PM LOVE this toothbrush. My mouth felt so much cleaner the first time I used it. It is so easy to use that it makes you want to brush your teeth. I used to use a rotating brush and then a commercial brand electric toothbrush and this one does a much better job. It looks good, feels good in my hand, feels good in my mouth and cleans well. I also like the stand I can store it on and changing the heads is so much easier than other brands I have used. The battery is also a big plus. The performance is solid and the brush does not slow down when the battery runs out like with battery operated replacement brushes. The toothbrush heads are more durable and last longer. As for the timer, I completely ignore it. It takes me more than 2 minutes to brush my teeth if I want to concentrate and do a good job so I really dont see the benefit of this feature. But I think for those who brush their teeth quickly, its a nice feature to remind them to take more time.

What I like most is the different settings on this toothbrush. It makes my teeth and mouth feel like they just went to the dentist, clean. Especially for the price. I spent five times the amount and got much less results. The timer is a nice feature, especially for kids. And it only takes 1.5 hours to charge, which is fantastic.

7/27/2024 10:22 PM This is a good first electric toothbrush, but for longterm use I plan to upgrade to a better corded or rechargeable model. Pros Cleans better than my old manual toothbrush. Gets really clean where the hairs are easy to reach. The builtin timer is helpful. The brush head itself is small, which is fine with me because I have myofascial issues that limit my jaw movement. The vibration is not strong. Cons The battery drains very quickly. I use these twice a day for 24 minutes, depending on my morning or evening routine, and go through a set of batteries about every four weeks. I have to twist them at odd angles to get between my teeth and back molars. The bristles dont seem long enough or angled enough to properly clean between teeth. Because of the way I have to maneuver the brush, I often end up with toothpaste everywhere, and you know those ugly stains. Im not entirely sure about the longterm cleanliness of the inside of the brush head. I take it off after each use and place it on a paper towel to let any saliva or water drip off, but Im not sure its dry enough to prevent bacteria growth. Basically useless for the tongue. The best way to clean your tongue is to use a tongue scraper or a manual toothbrush. Its definitely better than my old manual toothbrush, and probably good enough for a travel electric toothbrush, but I think its definitely worth spending more on a better quality rechargeable toothbrush that does a better job of getting through grout.

I also love that while it doesnt whiten, it removes a ton of stains and leaves your teeth almost pearly white, giving you a really deep but gentle clean. I also love that it doesnt vibrate my nose like regular electric toothbrushes do.

Its not as fast as the unit connected to a plugged in charger but it does the job and is one less charger to carry around and possibly forget about. AA batteries are available pretty much everywhere and seem to last a long time. I used it for two weeks in England and the original batteries held up well.

I also love that it has a timer and a handy travel case. My only gripe is the strong vibration. While I have no issues with the tip of the brush, the handle seems to vibrate too much, causing my hand to go numb after two minutes of brushing. I might try wrapping the handle in a towel or something to make it feel better in my hand while brushing, but its a bit annoying to have to help. Overall, this toothbrush is definitely worth the money and I hope you enjoy it for a long time.

7/17/2024 10:04 AM My dentist recommended that I switch from a Philips Sonicare to an Oral B electric toothbrush to improve the health of my back molars and around them. Ive had a Sonicare for 15 years now. I was hesitant to switch. When the Oral B arrived, I unpacked it and everything was fine. I rinsed the brush head, which was small in comparison, and decided to give it a try immediately. I pressed the power button and I swear a rocket went off in my head. This thing is LOUD. Much louder than the Sonicare toothbrush Ive been used to for all these years. Still, it packs a punch and those bristles pack some serious cleaning power. I vowed to use them for a full week before making a final decision. The biggest things I miss about my Phillips Sonicare are the quietness and the minimalist timer feature, but thats about it. Ill have to sacrifice everything else. I find the Oral B to be much more thorough and effective in cleaning my teeth and gums. However, the timer feature on this brush is a bit odd. It feels like it is missing something. It is like you push the motor too hard and it stays on for a split second before starting up again. It does not automatically turn off after two minutes, it just vibrates your head endlessly until you turn it off. Personally, I do not find this feature particularly useful. I did notice that this toothbrush CAN be charged using the Phillips Sonicare base. It is the same design concept with the pinhole where the brush sits on the base to charge. No matter which charger I take out of the drawer, the Oral B does not last long on a charge. After a week, it will flash brightly to indicate it is charging. My Sonicare can easily last for weeks on a single charge if I use it twice a day. This one runs out of battery pretty quickly. I wish the Oral B brush heads had some kind of top cover. Overall, I liked the toothbrush. Its not my favorite toothbrush and I prefer the slimness and sleekness of the Phillips Sonicare BUT the Oral B beats the other brands when it comes to deep cleaning. The vibrations and oscillations of the brush head are simply unmatched. I will admit, I still use the Sonicare in the morning. Im not exactly a wakeup person and Im not usually a morning person, so I dont want to start my day with the sound of a Boeing jet taking off in my mouth. With the Sonicare, I can start my morning off smoothly. However, in the evening, I always use the OralB for a deep clean and to remove food debris before bed. Im not ready to fully embrace this brush yet, but I like it enough to keep it and continue to use it. I think their overall function outweighs their aesthetics. Oral B, if youre reading this, make it quieter, extend the battery life, and put a cap on the brush head to store styling products and perfume and catch spills.

It is a different experience and takes a few cycles to get used to. I like it. Very effective. A big difference from my Sonicare brushing. The prices of the two major brands of electronic toothbrushes have become INCREDIBLY high. They should be worried as they continue to lose market share to similar products available. So far I like this product and would buy it again.

7/3/2024 12:46 PM needed to replace my old Oral B and I bought this one. It works well but needs to be charged after about 45 days when used twice a day. My old unit lasted almost a week. This one does not have the pressure warning light like my old one did. Luckily the old charging station works well with the new unit. This one was a bit more expensive because I paid almost the same for it as the old 2 pack with pressure sensing lights. One of the old toothbrushes needed to be recharged every 2 days but after 10 years it is still good. The 2nd original one lasts about 5 days. I hope it lasts that long.

However, it has a few flaws that make it less than ideal. The placement of the buttons on the toothbrush makes it difficult to brush without accidentally switching modes or turning the toothbrush off. This is made even more difficult by the fact that pressing the button resets the timer. Also, there is no pause function to allow spitting or rinsing while brushing. These two things make the timer almost useless to me. I will continue to use it, but I will have to deal with the flaws.

6/16/2024 1:52 PM just bought this after almost 25 years of using traditional toothbrushes and wow what a huge improvement. My teeth are cleaner than ever. Sounds cliche but it is true. Here is my opinion after almost 2 weeks of using this product 1. The design is very simple. The battery case is rubberized, remains waterproof and the whole toothbrush is sturdy and well made. It came with Duracell batteries which was a pleasant surprise. 2. The cleaning effect is fantastic. My gums are very sensitive but this toothbrush has very soft bristles that do not hurt my gums at all. 3. I love the awesome 2 minute timer that lets you know when you have brushed for 2 minutes with a slightly different vibration mode. Oddly enough, since I got this brush I have been brushing my teeth 3 times a day. Overall I have absolutely no complaints. I love this toothbrush and for the price it is a phenomenal buy. As always great. I have noticed that the replacement heads are a bit pricey but well worth it. Make sure they are from a reputable seller as there are some knockoffs on the market. I will stick with the OralB Precision Clean line for life. UPDATE 12142015 I still HIGHLY recommend this. WOW this is a GREAT little worker, it works just like it did the first day 4 years ago. In fact, I cant say the same about most things I own. I am incredibly impressed with the build quality and problem free use for 4 years. No signs of water damage, the motor hasnt lost speed and the 2 minute timer works great. I replace the heads often and use the same set of batteries I had in 2012. They just dont make things like this anymore. My teeth are in fantastic condition, my dentist jokes that she makes my life so much easier these days. UPDATE 6112 I have been using this toothbrush for almost a year and a half now and it still works great. I am now on my third replacement brush head and have had absolutely no issues. I cant believe this product worked so well for the price. What a great deal I have upgraded to Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries and they seem to last much longer than the standard batteries, almost 2 weeks on one pair of batteries, so I highly recommend them. Since getting this toothbrush my teeth and gums have been in fantastic condition. I now trust this product. UPDATE 81811 After almost 6 months of use this baby still works great. I have only had to replace the batteries and brush head once. Very happy with this toothbrush

It has a built in vibration monitor so you know when its time to move on to the next section of your mouth. The brushes are easy to put on and take off. Loading is easy. I bought the Aquasonic toothbrush and am very happy with it. It is as good if not better than the Sonicare but it is much cheaper. No other toothbrush has 8 attachments. What a great deal.

6/2/2024 8:26 AM bought the turquoise model to match my bathroom color. The color is stunning, exactly like the picture. I tested the charge time. It lasted until the 20th use and ran out halfway through. After the 10th use, the vibrations were noticeably reduced. In other words, I could take it on a short trip without the charging port, but for a longer trip, I would need the charger. My least favorite thing is the button. It is a recessed button that you have to press quite hard compared to other OralBs toothbrush models. It would be nice if the button was raised instead.

6/1/2024 4:45 PM have been using a battery operated Spin Brush toothbrush for years. It was still okay. But this one is great. I love the perfect size for my teeth. The bristles are soft enough not to damage the enamel, but hard enough to remove food particles from small crevices. I have learned now that I only need to use it ONCE before bed. With this toothbrush, you just slowly move it over the front and back of each tooth and you are done. No scrubbing. Just move it slowly over it. Remember, you only want to clean the surface, not like you are mopping the floor. I learned the hard way that using hard toothbrushes, too much pressure, brushing for too long, or too many times a day wears away the layer of enamel that protects your teeth from decay. I used to be a very obsessive brusher, which I now regret. Trust me when I say... dont overdo it and use the softest brush you can find. Always floss first. Dont use floss holders because over time they wear away your enamel and create little grooves between your teeth, making your teeth very sensitive and more susceptible to cavities. Rinse candies with warm water after eating them. And chew Trident gum as often as possible. Do some research on this. New research has shown that xylitol slows the growth of cavitycausing bacteria. I chew it all day... plus it strengthens your jaw muscles and reduces your appetite. PROTECT YOUR TEETH AT ALL COSTS. If you dont wear them, your teeth will last a lifetime. This toothbrush can make a big difference if you take my advice seriously... and start using it ASAP.

5/30/2024 1:07 AM bought the Oral B Pro 1000 electric toothbrush to replace my Phillips electric toothbrush that was not removing plaque well. This toothbrush is like going to the dentist. It removes plaque much better than the Phillips. A real winner. It is a little stronger, but leaves my teeth cleaner than ever. It does not come with a brush head cover, so I recommend getting one. There are plenty of inexpensive alternatives that will keep your toothbrush clean and keep germs out of your toilet.

I watched them use it and thought Wow, this makes everything so much easier. I can tell you, my teeth and gums have never been so clean and smooth. Remember to use soft bristles and dont brush too hard. Just go lightly over the front and back of your teeth. The color is beautiful, my favorite color, one of a kind. One charge lasts over a week. I just pick a day and put them on charge overnight every week. Im sure it will last longer. Its easy to use, very well made and Im glad my dentist recommended it. The heads last 6 months but every now and then I dip mine in a small cup of peroxide to clean it. Great toothbrush, cleans teeth and gums with so much less effort and saves money too. Considering the number of toothbrushes it has replaced, dont hesitate to buy it.

5/21/2024 1:43 PM Just a news flash, if you are like me and dont like sonic toothbrushes, this one is for you. It is very affordable, the builtin battery has a run time of 2 minutes, and a set of 2 AA alkaline batteries lasts almost 2 months without losing speed. This is possible due to some builtin technology, but make sure to lubricate the Oring on the battery cover before closing it, otherwise it will break after a while. This happened to me. It lasts forever and does the same job as the much more expensive OralB on the market. Ditto. I posted the same review on the OralB Vitality toothbrush, but it is also on the Prohealth model. I have been brushing my teeth with OralB for over 10 years now, and they are all similar to the Vitality model. I have always used the cheapest model because I dont see any difference with the more expensive ones unless you want extra features like a timer, LCD display, etc. The Vitality is a very good brush. I use the round head instead of the long one. I prefer brushing my teeth with the OralB than any other electric toothbrush on the market. The sonic version hurts my gums and also tickles me too much. The entry level OralB electric toothbrushes are the solution. I cant brush my teeth with a regular toothbrush anymore. The brush heads are cheaper but not cheap. They are fakes and last less than a month. The ones from Walmart and others last 3 months or more. The downside to the Vitality rechargeable toothbrush and all the old Oralb toothbrushes I have had is that you have to charge it after 34 days of brushing 23 times a day. I find that boring. I didnt want to have to recharge my toothbrush after every use. So I bought the ORALB ProHealth, which runs on two AA batteries. Its AMAZING. The quality is the same as the rechargeable ones, but even better. The Prohealth batteries last forever. I put in 2 x AA 2000mAh rechargeable batteries and it lasted a good 2 months with no noticeable loss of power. Its the best. The Vitality rechargeable toothbrush starts working very slowly after 34 days. Not with Prohealth. Buy Prohealth. Its the right choice if you like the ORALB design. Plus, ORALBs last forever. I only have one electric toothbrush that has a dead battery. And since these are entrylevel brushes, Ill just buy another one. You dont need to buy another battery. 5/20/2024 6:05 PM There are several reasons to buy this toothbrush 1. It has a 2minute timer, 2. Its available not only on but also at Walmart, Target, and several supermarkets, 3. It uses the standard OralB brush heads, which are also widely available, as well as a wide selection of very affordable thirdparty replacements, and 4. It uses two AA batteries. The fourth reason is probably the most underrated, as it means you can easily replace the batteries without having to wait for them to recharge, you dont have to carry a charger with you when traveling, knowing that you can easily find replacement batteries if you need them, and most importantly, when your electric toothbrush has reached the end of its life and needs to be disposed of, it can be done safely. Other toothbrushes with sealed batteries have recycling issues, as removing the batteries from the plastic housing is so difficult that no one does it, resulting in valuable and often toxic materials ending up in landfills or incinerated. I use Panasonic NIMH Eneloop AA batteries and even though I use my toothbrush 25 times a day, they usually last about a month before I have to put them in the charger. There are things I like and prefer over USB or wireless charging, but this is one where I prefer AA batteries for the reasons I mentioned above. I also like this toothbrush a lot more than the Sonicare toothbrush I had before, which was a let down on almost every count price, size, availability of toothbrush heads, no charger, uses AA batteries, etc. As far as I can tell, its just as good if not better.

And my dental hygienist told me that even though I brushed regularly, I wasnt doing my best. She recommended an Oral B electric toothbrush and it has really improved my oral health. Ive been using it for over a year now and I love that it tells you the time youve brushed each quadrant of your mouth. No more sloppy, rushed brushing. The unit is very sturdy and will let you know when its time to charge when a small light at the bottom of the handle starts flashing. He prefers to brush his teeth if its an electric toothbrush, hell probably like it better. Thats why I bought these for him. Theyre very similar to adult toothbrushes even in their features, specifically stated to be safe for kids, and tested by professionals. I use it on the gentle setting for at least the first few weeks. He does a good job with it, and Ill probably be able to switch it to the regular setting. The quality of his brushing when he does it alone is questionable, but I think his teeth feel a lot better thanks to the sound effect of this toothbrush. The timer that stops after 30 seconds also helps him concentrate better and move from one area to another. At the time of writing this review, this item was on sale for about 12. Thats such a low price for such a great product. I think it can compete and even surpass the products of famous brands.

Before closing the compartment, I added some salad oil to the rubber seal, as some reviewers recommended. Well see if that helps when the batteries need replacing. Finally, I got it open, inserted the batteries, and it worked. The 2minute timer is fine, but I really want to know when the 30 seconds are up.

I had a Burst toothbrush before this one and I ordered it because it was just convenient. What I really liked is that it comes with the entire brush so you dont have to order more. I have had mine for a few months now and the brush head lasts at least a month, sometimes more. It also charges with an updated USB cable. It is located at the bottom of the toothbrush and is easily accessible by twisting it. In my experience the charge lasts for almost a month. I noticed very similar, if not identical, results with my toothbrush. I am very pleased, recommend and will continue to use it.

Also, if you take it out of your mouth while using it, it sprays foamy water EVERYWHERE. But it does seem to clean your teeth. I charge it between brushes, so I cant say how long the battery lasts. The longest Ive used it without the charger was on a threeday vacation trip where my husband and I used it to use the extra brush heads.

He said an electric or battery powered toothbrush would help me brush softer and clean better than a manual toothbrush. I bought it because it was cheap, Im not going to lie. I have ear problems and sometimes the vibration makes me dizzy so I didnt want to spend a lot of money on a toothbrush I wouldnt be able to use. Thats it, this toothbrush works well and seems to clean my teeth but it makes me dizzy. I dont know why but I gave it to my youngest son with the head off and hes been using it ever since. He loves it. It doesnt have a timer like the more expensive models and the batteries are a bit tricky to replace but my son has gotten used to the fact that theyre easy to brush and has used different heads to find the ones he likes. The best. So far he hasnt had any major issues, its been a few months, so Id say its worth the money. My sons teeth look great and we were able to find inexpensive replacement heads. I would use them, but I think Ill have to stick with the soft manual toothbrushes. If you have ear issues like Menieres, which I dont have, or balance issues, the vibrations near your ears can sometimes cause balance issues or dizziness. I dont know how common this is, but it has happened to me. Still, its inexpensive and works well for my son.

4/19/2024 6:42 PM Ive used several versions of Oral B toothbrushes over the years and just replaced my old one that wouldnt hold a charge with this one. Its actually the cheapest version, but I really like it. First, it sits upright in my medicine cabinet and its the most stable version of all and the least likely to fall over. It spins really fast and seems to hold a charge as long as the more expensive models. Ill be repurchasing them when the time comes.

This is my first electric toothbrush and it takes some getting used to, but it is lightweight and as far as I can tell after four days, it works as advertised. Had to take off one star because the first toothbrush was a failure when repackaged. When I got the replacement, I knew because the first toothbrush that didnt charge had parts missing. It was already returned to me once, put back in stock, and then resold.

3/27/2024 11:00 PM Since I had trouble brushing my teeth for a full two minutes and wanted an electric toothbrush, I looked for an electric toothbrush with a builtin timer. I started looking at the Sonicare line of toothbrushes and then came across the OralB rotating brushes. Since these brushes were much cheaper than the Sonicare, I was skeptical, but since they were cheap to try, I decided to give them a try. I will not be purchasing another electric toothbrush anytime soon. The reason I chose this toothbrush over others is based on what I read in other reviews of other products. Price This product is slightly cheaper than other products. Rotating brush head or sonic brush head My dentists have always recommended using a circular motion rather than the back and forth method. I have heard that sonic brush heads are more likely to harbor bacteria. I went with the rotating head. Removable battery or rechargeable battery. Most electric toothbrush batteries run out after a year or two. I didnt want to have to constantly put my toothbrush on the docking station and worry about the battery draining, so I went with a cheaper model that used AA batteries. Instead, I use rechargeable AA batteries. Timer This product has a timer. It turns on and off about three times after 2 minutes. I dont need different brushing modes or anything like that. Travel Since there are no extra parts, I find it just as easy to take this toothbrush with me when I travel as I would a manual toothbrush. Just make sure the battery is charged before you take it with you. Additional Information The battery lasts about 30 days. It is relatively noisy compared to the Sonicare, but you get used to it. The entire brush is waterproof and can be used under the sink. However, I wouldnt submerge them in water. You can also prevent the battery cover from cracking by regularly cleaning your toothbrush. Your saliva toothpaste will naturally want to get into all the grooves of this brush. Just hold the entire brush under the sink and wipe it all off when youre done. It takes about 20 seconds. I clean the gasket around the battery case about every 2 weeks. Overall, Im very happy with this product. My mouth feels much cleaner than when using a manual toothbrush, and I think it will last a long time. Even if it does break over time, as other reviews say, its very cheap to replace, as the price suggests. Im just wondering why I didnt do this sooner.

I am removing one star because the onoff switch is in a place that I often accidentally press and it can be annoying when it is not in your mouth because toothpaste andor water gets stuck everywhere.

3/19/2024 7:43 PM We have the OralB 1000 rechargeable electric toothbrush for daily use. When we travel, we pack the charger and toothbrush head holder in a large ziplock bag. This will be difficult. You will also need an outlet in the hotel bathroom. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe. It does not require a plug and therefore no converter. I have used it and it runs at the same speed as the 1000. It does not have a 30 second timer, only a 2 minute timer, so that is a future upgrade.

I like this one even better. The head is smaller so it cleans the back molars better. I often use the whitening speed, which my Sonicare didnt have.

It was an inexpensive toothbrush, but I didnt expect to have to replace it in less than a year. I tried cleaning the brush and replacing the batteries, but to no avail. Now I understand why the manufacturer only offers a 60day moneyback guarantee.

3/5/2024 8:56 AM So far the toothbrush head fits well. The whole toothbrush is lightweight and the colors are nice. The price was very good because I got them on a deal day. Ive only had them for a few days so I cant comment on the battery life yet. Of the three other brands Ive used before, one gave up after a few months so I cant use many replacement heads because the body is broken. The second ones head broke when I was taking the toothpaste out of the jar natural toothpaste and the third ones head didnt fit in the case well so they always came off when I was brushing. Ive had bad luck with electric toothbrushes. This one looks better. Hopefully it will last until I use up the replacement heads this time.

3/3/2024 3:08 PM UPDATE after 3 months. So far my favorite toothbrush. The charge lasted 3 months. No issues loading. Cleaning is very easy if you are worried about mold under the brush head as someone reported. This problem can occur with all electric toothbrushes. The 15 best toothbrushes I have ever bought. Small and lightweight, easy to hold and use. Easy to clean. The performance may not be as good as my Oral B IO, but it is close enough to use and take with you. And you can get a replacement toothbrush for much less than Oral B or Sonicare. I drool when I try to use the Oral B IO, but not with this brush. I will update if the brush is not durable.

3/1/2024 7:15 PM cant remember why I bought this toothbrush over another Philips Sonicare, but I will go back to the Sonicare when this toothbrush wears out. It doesnt come with a case for the brush, and the charging feature is such that you have to leave it on the charger for 24 hours and then use it for about a week before you can charge it again. Ive only had it for a few months, so I cant say how long the battery charging system will last. I think the Sonicare is a better system, but this brush, while it seems easier to use, is strangely addictive. I CANNOT LOL

2/28/2024 9:08 PM I had three electric toothbrushes before buying this one and this one is my favorite. I love the feel of this toothbrush. It has a satin finish. I clean pretty messy. I want to make sure I get all my teeth so that at the end of the brushing the toothpaste drips onto my hand. Sometimes this causes my hand to slip on the toothbrush. This doesnt happen with this brush. And I love that the toothbrush has soft bristles and gets into all the places. I would buy this toothbrush again.

2/25/2024 6:11 PM Works well. It doesnt grind up plaque like the more expensive OralB products. On the downside, it doesnt try to connect to your home WiFi or Bluetooth like the iQ products do. Although it does hit the 2 minute mark, it doesnt burp every 30 seconds. Ive bought the most expensive OralB units in the past, the Smart 1500 and 1000. Theyre good, but Ive had three of them break, each in less than 2 years, because water got into the electronics and corroded the circuit board. Thats how I looked at it. So I decided to buy a cheap one this time so I wouldnt be so upset if it stopped working after a year or two. Who wants to pay almost 100 or more for a toothbrush every year or two The iQ brushes have a different drive mechanism for the brush head, so they may not have the same leakage issue as the Smart 1500 and 1000. I bought my wife an iQ brush, so well see. For now, its a cheap brush for me.

The result is simply not better than brushing with a regular manual toothbrush. I bought this to teach my toddler how to brush her teeth, as the more expensive and highquality model is too durable for her. I have the 1500 model and it has a sensitivity mode, which I used to teach my children how to brush their teeth, and this toothbrush is weaker or as strong as the sensitivity mode, depending on how long it is used. ProNot as powerful as the expensive highend model, saves money and is good for children. Perfect for traveling, inexpensive to replace if lost. The battery is easy to change, unlike the higher quality model, not so easy without disassembling and resoldering it. Many cheap thirdparty brushes work with it, and they are not too expensive. Its incredibly simple, you get what you pay for, low power and only one mode. Not really adult grade and doesnt clean any better than a regular toothbrush. You have to brush three times longer to get the fresh, clean feeling you would with a highend model that costs 50. If youre still reading this and looking for an adult electric toothbrush, you might want to look at the 1500 or todays model. The 3000 and up models have two modes. And if you want to get an OralB or a Sonicare, skip the Sonicare. I have a first generation Sonicare and have used three different generations. They are very well made, much better than the OralB, the battery charges faster, the brush is much cleaner, but... they also break after a few years of use. My last one only lasted a year and a half before I bought it I kid you not. Check to see if your Sonicare toothbrush turns on automatically. I also have two OralBs that are over 10 years old and still work. Okay, the battery doesnt last, but everything else works. The build quality of the OralB is cheap these days because the rubber handle wears out over time and water starts to leak in, so it needs to be well maintained. My old one didnt have that, so it lasted a long time. The most important reason you should buy an OralB is the way the brush works. Sonicare brushes move up and down and can get into your gums, while OralB brushes push left and right and move away from your gums.

What I dont like is that the travel case that came with it is already broken. Its not a deal breaker, but it is disappointing to some extent. We already have enough charging cables and we said ENOUGH when it comes to a toothbrush. This toothbrush works very well. We are VERY happy with it. I was sure she would eat the batteries like candy, but after 3 weeks of traveling we were left with the same set of batteries even though we both used them twice a day. It was a great purchase.

1/28/2024 4:45 PM bought this toothbrush on sale because the company that made my old one is no longer in business and I cant find the right brush heads. What I like about this toothbrush is that it has multiple heads, its rechargeable, and the heads are thin. It cleans pretty well, but not as well as my old one, especially around the gum line. Its nice that there are 4 brush pressure settings. What I dont like is that the selection button is very sensitive. If Im not careful, Ill accidentally change the setting while brushing. Overall, it works better than manual brushing.

And the best part is that you dont have to leave it on the charger. One charge lasts for weeks, making it perfect for short trips. It is definitely worth the money.

It still worked and I managed to change the heads but even with fresh batteries it really lacked power. So I decided to buy a new one. What a difference. I mean after all these years none of us are as powerful as we were right out of the box. Its a good toothbrush, my dental tech can tell the difference since Ive been using it and I prefer not to have a rechargeable one on my desk. Im just saying at some point you might want to buy a new one for another 15 or so. I also like the round head for my small mouth. It works well on the back of my teeth.

I didnt think Id need a timer on my toothbrush as an adult, but when I feel the difference, I realize I wasnt brushing long enough before. I ended up buying one for my teenager because in his head, 30 seconds is 2 minutes. I didnt realize it came with 4 brush heads, which was a nice surprise. The only downside is that the top of the brush hurts when it touches his teeth. His teeth are fragile, so I was worried hed break a tooth, but so far so good.

1/13/2024 2:46 AM have been using this product for a week or two now and I love it. It has helped my teeth become noticeably whiter and overall I feel like I am brushing my teeth much better. The only downside is that it is quite noisy. For example, I use it with the bathroom fan on and I can still hear it from outside the bathroom. The main issue is that I am in college and live in a dorm with three other guys. If I have to get up early for work, I dont think they would be happy about me waking them up at 6am with my toothbrush.

1/12/2024 6:22 PM This is a very powerful vibrator. I dont know if you can clean it because the bristles dont spin. The whole brush vibrates, not just the tip. Since the tip is removable, you can use it as a vibrator or a toothbrush.

But as a user of this toothbrush, I find it very difficult to control its use because it is so smooth and shiny that when it gets wet and gets toothpaste on it, it becomes slippery and difficult to hold. The outer part of the toothbrush body should have some structure to make it easier to hold.

Hopefully this one will last as long as the previous one. However, the included brush heads are very soft, so I dont really get the feeling that they are cleaning my teeth. I dont know if I was just complaining about the previous heads being too hard, but I definitely liked the previous heads better and I cant find any harder heads anymore.

12/30/2023 2:21 PM The Aquasonic Black Series Rechargeable Toothbrush is a big departure from the Spinbrush Pro Ive been using for about 30 years. I love the look of the Aquasonic, its very chic and sleek with its matte black finish, but the major differences in the brush take some getting used to. The bristle head is noticeably smaller, the body of the brush is very straight and has a slight contour to fit comfortably in your hand, but the biggest difference is the powerful, fast vibrations of the brush. Im sure it does a great job of cleaning my teeth, but the vibrations felt weird and tickled my mouth a bit at first, so I used the gentle setting until I got used to it. I like that it has multiple speed settings to choose from and that it comes with a travel case, which is more sanitary than wrapping the brush in a paper towel in your shaving kit and hoping for the best. I also noticed that it gets dirtier than my previous electric toothbrushes. The strong vibrations create more foam. I suspect they are difficult to keep in your mouth while brushing. Whatever you do, do not remove the brush from your mouth until you turn it off. Otherwise, you will get toothpaste on your bathroom mirror. One of the BIG benefits of the Aquasonic is that the bristle head is completely sealed. So I dont have to worry about water from the toothpaste getting into the bristle head every time I use it. I have to remove the motor head from the brush, rinse it, and then put it back. I have been using the brush for about two weeks now and have gotten a bit used to it. It is still running on the original charge as it was plugged in overnight the day I received it. Overall, I like it and since it comes with a travel case and 8 attachments, it would be a great choice for anyone under 30. P.S. Forgot to mention that the toothbrush has a timer that after 30 seconds briefly stops the motor to signal that it is working. time to move on to the next quadrant. After 2 minutes, it automatically turns off the motor so that you can meet the recommended optimal cleaning time.

12/30/2023 5:15 AM This is a great electric toothbrush. Powerful, good timer. The brush heads are good. The charge lasts all week. It doesnt even run out when I charge it. I only do it once a week, on a specific day, so I dont forget.

12/28/2023 6:26 PM am replacing my old one which after many years of use has to be recharged too often. I can never go back to brushing my teeth manually. I have had plaque issues due to health issues and medications. Shortly after I started using Oral B, my dentist noticed a change. I went from brushing every 4 months with more scraping to standard brushing every 6 months with lighter cleaning.

12/20/2023 6:11 AM Weve been using OralB rechargeable toothbrushes for decades and want to use the same brushing system when we travel. This batterypowered toothbrush, only slightly less powerful than the expensive rechargeable model, is perfect for onthego use. First of all, it requires disposable AA batteries. This means you dont have to bring a charger with you when you travel, and if the batteries die during your trip which is unlikely, you can easily buy new ones at almost any store. Another benefit is that you can and should remove the batteries before storing them for your next trip. You shouldnt store a rechargeable toothbrush this way, as batteries selfdischarge over time, and modern rechargeable batteries can no longer be charged if their level drops below a certain level. When traveling, we use this handy container, which easily holds the toothbrush handle, two brush heads, and a tube of toothpaste.

12/19/2023 1:24 PM The toothbrush is small and I was worried that I would have to charge it more than once a week. I have been using it for about three weeks now and have not had to charge it yet. I also like the design of the brush. It works much better than the more expensive Philips Sonicare I had before. Definitely a bargain and a great product.
